Commercial Minisplit at my Brewery - Senville Installation
I am opening a brewery and decided to install two Senville minisplit units to heat and cool the space. This commercial space really benefits from the two 1.5 ton heat pump mini splits.
In this video, I dig into the NC contractor laws and their bearing on this project; however I don't go into as much installation detail as I did in my previous video.
Check out my previous mini split video for full details:

Late to comment. Using a proper pouring basin and tapered sprue prevent gulping air in, so you don’t need to degas.

Don't put in dishwasher. These fixtures have lead and other chemicals that you don't ever want in your dishwasher. Handwash in a plastic pan (dollar store) that you are willing to throw out. Same goes for the sponge and anything else you are going to use on it.

Thank you for a fascinating series! And now I'm curious: After completing your Gingery lathe, have you actually _used_ it to get real work done? If so, by what factor, approximately; has it shortened the time your projects took compared to working without a lathe? Conversely, by what factor does it fall short of a commercial lathe you might afford on an average maker's budget? I, for one, would be interested in a future video exploring questions like these.

Kudos for the amount of work you put into this. Unfortunately, you really just proved what I, and probably most people assumed from the start. The metal will shrink as it cools and therefore never create a tight bond between itself and the surrounding wood. My guess is the metal will get even looser if the finished table is left in a home with low relative humidity. Perhaps if you poured the metal into a piece of wood fresh out of a drying kiln?

Purchased: August 2023 - still works GREAT!I ruclips.net/user/postUgkxxsUnXhGsSJLim_XnMHyQK0u3XVaW-CGn live in a studio and during the summer it gets scorching hot - really old building with no ac units. I can’t express how EASY it was to install. This unit has been a life savior during the summer and some days during other seasons where it can still be a bit warm at night. In this small place is my friend, a husky, poodle mix and myself. We need AC - lolI don’t use the dehumidifier option - I’m not sure if it will leak in my house, since I did not install the small draining hose that came with it. May look into it late but I don’t worry about much humidity in the apartment. I don’t understand why the negative reviews since all things mentioned, I personally did not find issues with. Definitely worth it!

I was running this saw for about 2 hours at about a 30-50% duty cycle ruclips.net/user/postUgkxfQm1wmg0ItKDLavxj1nXtQY9HP7EF504 and it did a great job. I used the lever for the built in sharpener to clear chip buildup out more than to actually sharpen the chain. It managed to cut some hardwood stumps much larger than it's size without bothering the neighbors with hours of 2 stroke noise.

well it's a lathe ruclips.net/user/postUgkxN9zrzkkhnjUF5PQbuA_B1gYdsfCu9k6z but it wasn't what i would have anticipated. Headstock, tailstock, carriage apron are manufactured from aluminum now not cast iron. The spindle diameter for the bearings is too small allowing for a few play in the spindle so I am using some blue Loctite to take out the play.

This was interesting seeing the whole project. I recently had to install a mini-split system and didn't know how to finish once I had gotten the indoor unit mounted with its line set and wiring cable penetrated through the wall. I'm an electrician and I usually stop with getting power to the equipment. On that note, the only thing I would point out is that you'd be better off coming from the bottom or low on the side of the outdoor electrical panel with an LB (conduit body) rather than through the top. The reason is that the enclosure is rated for outdoor weather, but adding a penetration to the top of the box voids that rating or requires a special weatherproof fitting (usually a Meyers hub) to keep it sealed properly. Still, great video!

Don't use lifting tongs to pour, they are only for taking the crucible out of the furnace. You put your pouring frame on the floor with a face warmed insulated brick in the crucible ring, you put the crucible on the brick and lift the pouring ring and engage the holding clamp bar and lift the pouring frame. Doing it the way you are runs the risk of crushing the crucible, dropping the crucible and you are chilling the crucible You can't pour safely with tongs and your hand is downhill from the molten metal.
